The skeleton frame can be spotted along Raleigh-Millington near the current fire station located at 7265 Raleigh-Millington Road. Back in June, the Millington Board of Mayor and Aldermen awarded a bid submitted for construction of a new Fire Station No. 2 on Raleigh-Millington Road. The low bidder was Fulwood Construction Co. of Olive Branch, Miss., for $2,153,156. Crews have been out and working on the construction of the new fire station since late January.
