Since the destruction of the former Ryan’s Steakhouse building at 8165 Highway 51 North and ground was cleared, some residents of Millington were wondering what was going to replace the old eatery. Fast Forward to late spring and the was demolished Ryan is becoming a new automatic car wash business. The frame and foundation have been visible for weeks. City Planner Nathaniel McHaffie has said the 3.01-acre lot is zoned B-2, General Commercial. Though fronting the highway, it also has access on the rear to East Densford Circle.In September 2022, the Millington Planning Commission unanimously approved a Site Plan submitted by SHJ Construction Group for a car wash that will be known as Tidal Wave Auto Spa.
