Newly Remodeled Millington Walmart Supercenter reopened earlier this month with customer-centric features, new community focused mural, following innovative store transformation. 

 From delivery to pickup, to in-store shopping, the Millington store remodel solidifies Walmart’s commitment to providing customers with a seamless, effortless, high-quality shopping experience. 

On Friday, Nov. 3, at 8 a.m., the Millington community were welcomed back to the newly remodeled Walmart store located at 8445 Highway 51 North. 

A celebratory ribbon-cutting and community event took place that included the recognition of community partnerships with the presentation of grants to local organizations, including Atoka Elementary School and its art department, J&J Foundation, Millington Crisis Center, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis. A new Millington-focused mural will also be revealed during the reopening event.  

Some in attendance that day were Tim Bishop, Store Manager, Millington Walmart, Millington Police Department, Millington Fire Department , James Griffin, Superintendent, Millington Municipal Schools, Michael Perry, Principal, Millington Central Middle High School, Ed Haley, City Manager, Millington Central Middle High School Color Guard, Atoka Elementary School, Atoka Elementary School Art Department, J&J Foundation, Millington Crisis Center and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis.
