The Raleigh-Millington Bridge project was officially completed Friday evening when all exits were opened at 385 and the five lanes were cleared for traffic both ways. Since the spring of 2020, the project approved by TDOT, went through two phases. The exits to Raleigh-Millington from 385 were closed causing detours, lane closures and adjustments to traffic for several months. The purpose of the project was to improve design, structure and for environmental benefits.
