The sign is up and visible on Highway 51 of the new Waffle House in Millington. Last year the Millington Planning Commission approved a Site Plan for construction of a Waffle House restaurant at the intersection of Highway 51 and Veterans Parkway. The structure is next door to the Arby’s across from the Forked River Commons shopping center. Charles Goforth, planning consultant for the city, said two lots were created when Arby’s was constructed, and the Waffle House will be located on the northern one. The building will be 23 feet wide and 75 feet long, and a combination of concrete blocks and brick.
