Millington Lady Trojans Soccer Head Coach Jerrett Everson was well aware of the run his program has been on the past couple of years.

Everson also knew that in his first year of coaching this team, he was winless at home. Whether it was the new turf at Mooney Boswell Field or the Millington Soccer Field located at the Intermediate School, the Lady Trojans had yet to taste victory in Flag City. On Thursday night, Everson and his Lady Trojans were able to take care of both of those things as the Trojans defeated Fayette Ware 6-2 to go unbeaten in district play and win the regular season district championship for the third straight year.

Rilee Ervin and Alexis Williamson each scored two goals and Jennifer Guerrero and Julizeth Cuevas each added a goal for the Black and Gold. Williamson, Cuevas and Layla Batts all had assists in the game for Millington who raced out to a 6-0 lead in the contest.

Next up on the three-peat list is district tournament championships.

Millington will get their chance at continuing this streak as they host the district tournament and will take on Ripley in their first game.
