Light contest judging brought Neighborhood Winter Wonderland Festival to a colorful end last month. Judging was so difficult that we ended up with two first-place winners, Kress and Cameron and the Morris Family, with the Hammer’s and the Dixon’s as the two second-place winners, all received cash and gifts. All participants received a snowman sign in their yard, a turkey and buffet dinner sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Lewis at their home which gave all participants an opportunity to meet their neighbors.  Santa was on scene for all participants and for those who drove to view our lighting displays to take last minute requests for Christmas wishes. “We are so pleased with the participation and enthusiasm, that we plan to do this yearly as long as our health holds out. After all, this is to bring our neighborhood together and help keep out crime,” said Audrey Lewis.  Thank you to all who participated and helped out, special thanks to Mr.  and Mrs. Dixon for gift donations.
