This past weekend the Brighton Lady Cardinal Softball team had a solid trip to the Magnolia State. Down in Batesville, the Lady Cardinals improved to 5-1 on the season racking up victories. Brighton went 3-1 during the span with hurler Katelyn Jones winning and Molly Oswalt picked up a save from the rubber on the final day. The bats were alive for the Lady Cardinals including slugger Brie Howard hitting a couple of home runs.
