Last week, leaders from the City of Millington including Millington Municipal Schools Superintendent James “Bo” Griffin and Millington Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Chris Thomas recognized Werner Enterprises for their outstanding support of service members, Veterans and families in Millington.
Werner Enterprises has the distinction of Gold Tier, the highest distinction in the Veteran Ready Business Recognition Program.
Commissioner Tommy Baker praised their commitment to recruiting, hiring, and retaining the veteran community, as well as recognizing the economic and cultural impact they bring to Tennessee.
“It is inspiring to see businesses like them leading the way in honoring service through action,” he said.
