Adult Co-ed Volleyball Registration for Millington Arts, Recreation and Parks Registration is the entire month of November. There will be 20 teams. You can come by Baker Community Center at 7942 Church St. in Millington to register and pay your fees. We accept cash, check, money order, debit or credit cards. You can also go to the handouts tab to your left and print out the adult team registration form. All players participating in the league must sign the roster before they will be allowed to play. $25/individual-$250/team. Minimum age to play is 15. We do not guarantee that if you sign up as an individual that you will be able to play. Persons signing up as individuals will be placed in a pool until there are enough to form a team. Some individuals may be placed on teams that have registered but do not have players to fill out their team.
PRACTICES
Teams will be able to practice in the Millington Civic Center Gym during the month of December and during the season as long as there are not any other paid events in the gym. You will have to call our office to schedule a practice. Practices are in 1 hour blocks from 6-10 pm Monday through Friday.
GAMES
Games will be played on Saturdays starting in January. There will be a 10 game schedule with a single elimination tournament following completion of the regular season. The season will approximately be over the first weekend of April. All games will be played at the Millington Civic Center Gym.
ROSTERS
Each team will have 10 players. Rosters will be frozen at the start of the season. You will not be able to add and/or drop players. 3 girls and 3 guys on the court at a time. You can play with more girls than guys but not vice versa.
UNIFORMS
No uniforms are required but teams must wear the same color shirts.
OTHER ODDS & ENDS
If a team does not show up for their match and there is a forfeit involved, that team will have to a pay a $20 fee before they can play their next match. If both teams do not show up and there is a double forfeit, both teams will pay a $20 fee.
You can borrow players from another team to get to your minimum of 4 but it can’t be the team you are playing against. You may also start a match by playing 3 guys and 2 girls. However, when the serve rotates around and it is in the missing player’s spot, the point will be given to the other team as well as the serve.
